We are all connected.
If the spread of this new virus isn't grim, it's a reminder that indeed - we are more alike than we realize.
May we not submit to fear in the presence of this pandemic. "Pandemic" refers to the virus' ability to transmute and spread geographically, not to its lethality.
Agreed, this is not something to take lightly. This is serious. May this remind us to protect ourselves but just as importantly, to look after our neighbours. To show up with open hearts. To speak our truth. To spread an energy of positivity.
The world does not need more hysteria, fear and panic. The world needs us to show up to what makes us come alive. What is your passion? What makes you gleam? Focus on that - and share it with the world if you feel courageous to do so.
More than ever, the world wide web is our tool to connect. That is what at the core of our desires, we are seeking: Connection. Within the suggestion of isolation lays an opportunity to connect. Stop the noise, the chatter, the pressure... take a deep breath, and listen. Simplify. Do less. Be. More. Present.
With all of this being said, I am suggesting the following with regards to my practice:
1. Please wash your hands thoroughly upon arrival and before your treatment
2. If you are showing any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, congestion, sneezing, sore throat or any other flu-like symptoms, please stay home and reschedule all activities until you are well, or for 14 days (whichever is longer).
3. If you have travelled outside of the country, regardless of if you are showing symptoms or not, please reschedule your appointment for 14 days down the road. If you start to show symptoms within the 14 days, please follow step 2.
If we all do our part, we can ensure that our loved ones who's immune systems aren't as strong as ours stay protected and well.
